Part of the Four Sisters series, this work brings together four figures shaped through contrasting identities and imagined abilities. Vanessa was inspired by performers, hunters, and women with strong individual presence while creating the personalities within the painting. One figure references a trans woman with an optimistic attitude, while another draws from the image of a singer. The remaining figures were inspired by ideas of wealth, performance, and survival. Though visually different from one another, the figures are connected through confidence and individuality.
