This work is a study of the artist’s own leg, positioned as a symbol of movement and endurance. Coming from a traditional farming background in the Western Ghats, the leg recalls labour, walking, and contact with the soil. It reflects how the body anchors itself within ecological and working environments. Here, the leg is not only anatomical but also a marker of lived experience and continuity between land and practice.
