In this work, a woman sits pleased beside her harvest. There is a sense of fullness in the moment, of labour, patience and the reward of the land. Beside her sits the lion tailed macaque, our forest cousin, sharing the same space. I often think of harvest not only as food from the earth but as the result of care, time and coexistence. The woman and the macaque sit together in contentment, reminding us that abundance once belonged to both humans and the wild. It is a reflection on harmony with the land and the life that surrounds us.
